Planning & Utilities Assistant

Summary

Sugarbush is seeking a Planning & Utilities Assistant to join our planning & utilities departments! This position is responsible for providing administrative, office, and technical support to department staff to facilitate the efficient and organized operation of these two departments in addition to A/R tasks associated with utility customer support, billing and receiving

Responsibilities

  • Track, administer, and coordinate environmental and sustainability initiatives: Climate Challenge, Sustainable Slopes, Way to Go, Resort Green Up, VT Environmental Business Partnership, Anti Idling, Recycling, etc.
  • Perform administrative tasks for a wide variety of projects, operations and compliance items supporting Utilities department.
  • Perform quarterly billing for Sugarbush Utilities.
  • Handle customer billing issues regarding Utilities.
 

Requirements

Associates Degree in Business Administration, Resort Area Management, Natural Resource Management, or related discipline, or minimum of 3 years’ experience from which comparable knowledge or skills have been acquired. Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Must be able to work in a busy office setting. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and experienced with use of GIS software. Must be able to access terrain via skis/snowboard, snowshoes, and/or by walking/hiking. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
